The Lourdes Football Program lost their semifinal Section 1AAA game to Stewartville 13-10 on Saturday October 29th. Lourdes finished the 2011 Season with an 8-2 record. The leading rusher for Lourdes was Sean Griffin with 105 yards on 19 carries.

The scoring started for Lourdes in the second quarter with an 11 yard touchdown run by Sean Griffin. The scoring rounded out for Lourdes in the fourth quarter with a 33 yard field by Michael Brandt. Lourdes fell short on their last possessions of the game with 1:18 left in the fourth quarter after Stewartville kicked a 28 yard field go to go up 13-10.

The Lourdes Football Program would like to sincerely thank the 2011 Senior Class for their outstanding leadership throughout the season and wish all of them success in their future sports seasons and academic careers. Each and every one will be missed.
