The Lourdes Football Program won their quarterfinal Section 1AAA game, defeating La Crescent 36-20 on Tuesday, October 25th, upping their record to 8-1 on the season. The leading rusher for Lourdes was Sean Griffin with 121 yards on 18 carries.

The scoring started for Lourdes in the second quarter with a 6 yard touchdown run by Griff Slightam. Sean Griffin scored a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter from 3 and 7 yards out. McKay Carstens added a 28 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.  The scoring rounded out for Lourdes in the fourth quarter with a 6 yard touchdown run by Sean Griffin.

Lourdes will again host Stewartville Saturday October 29th, with a 7pm kickoff at the Rochester Regional Sports Stadium, for the semifinal game of the Section 1AAA tournament.
