The Lourdes Football Program won their second game of the season with a 28-13 victory in Byron against the Bear on Friday September 9th.
The scoring started for Lourdes in the first quarter with an 88 yard fumble return for a touchdown by Sean Griffin. Kane Carstens added a 5 yard touchdown run in the second
quarter. The first half ended with a 8 yard touchdown run by Connor Nellans. The scoring rounded out for Lourdes in the third quarter with a 90 yard punt return for a touchdown by
Sean Griffin.
The Lourdes defense played well all night battling the long time of possession by Byron, but coming up big with three turnovers when it mattered.
