The Lourdes Football Program won their last regular season game of 2009 with a 49-14 victory over Lake City on Tuesday October 20th in Lake City bringing their regular season record to 5-3.  Lourdes will open up the 2009 Section 1AAA playoffs traveling to Byron High School on Tuesday October 27th for a 7pm game against the Bears. 

The leading rusher for Lourdes was Adam Lentz with 214 yards on 18 carries.  the Lourdes offense totaled 441 total yards with 334 yards on the ground and 107 passing yards. 

The scoring started for Lourdes on the first play of the game with a 66 yard touchdown pass from Tyler Greguson to Chris Griffin.  Adam Lentz added a pair of touchdown runs later in the first quarter with runs of 5 yards and 22 yards.  David Keeney capped the scoring in first quarter with a 1 yard touchdown run.  Lentz added a 5 yard touchdown run in the second quarter and a 1 yard touchdown run in the third quarter.  The scoring for Lourdes was rounded out with a 95 yard kick-off return for a touchdown in the third quarter.
