The Lourdes Football Program won their first round game in the Section 1 AAA playoffs with a 46-14 victory over Byron.  Lourdes will play Kasson-Mantorville at the Rochester Regional Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 31st at 9am for the second round of the 2009 Section 1AAA playoffs. 

The leading rusher for Lourdes was Adam Lentz who also set a new school record for rushing yards in a game single with 294 yards on 18 carries and 5 TD's.  The Lourdes offense totaled 448 total yards with 333 yards on the ground and 115 passing yards. 

Adam Lentz Scored 5 touchdowns in the game, 4 rushing and 1 receiving.  The rushing touchdowns came on runs of 8, 55, 41, and 5 respectively.  Tyler Greguson threw a pair of touchdown passes, one to Chris Griffin for 31 yards and the other to Adam Lentz for the first score of the game from 36 yards out.  Greguson also added a 1 yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
